Entry no. 625 from a directory of maker's marks: the rectangular punch "І.МАРШАКЪ" together with the reference text on the firm — a factory of gold and silver wares founded in 1878; in 1897 it employed 72 workers (including 12 adolescents and 7 children) and produced goods worth 227,717 roubles; the factory operated until 1917. Pieces in museum collections are listed — a dish with carving and enamel, a chased coffee pot, a table fork and spoon. This is the same mark visible inside the lid of the silver stamp-case in this collection.
