Alexander von Bunge
Alexander von Bunge (Oleksandr Bunhe; 1803, Kyiv — 1890, Dorpat) was a botanist who described the flora of the Altai and Mongolia. His expeditions introduced the plants of Central Asia to European science; dozens of species are named in his honour.Collection1
