Mykhailo Moroz
From Kosmach to Staten Island. A pupil of Oleksa Novakivsky's art school who later studied in Paris. In 1944 he left for Slovakia, then Germany, spent four years in a displaced-persons camp in Bavaria, and in 1949 moved to the United States.
Born 7 July 1904 in Plikhiv in the Ternopil region; died 27 September 1992 on Staten Island near New York.Collection3
